In response to Gary’s objections to Hal’s “Farten” articles, I would like to point out that we see and hear such disgraceful and obscene things on our televisions, and no one seems to say a thing. Hal Sullivan’s humor is so innocent and refreshing and is good for a good ‘belly laugh.’ I personally think they are hilarious and give Hal a BRAVO! for his sense of humor. It is good, clean fun and does not hurt anyone.

In this day when one cannot say one thing that does not offend someone, give me a break that such a simple and well-meaning, fun-filled article such as “Farten” would be objectionable to somebody.

This is ludicrous to me. God help us, that we are so hung up on everything that we cannot have a good laugh.

Please, Jim, do not let Gary’s objection stop ‘Trapper’ from printing Hal Sullivan’s humorous articles.
